How to Import
Four steps to complete historical data in MT4
Increase Max Bars
Tools → Options → Charts. Set "Max bars in history" to 2147483647
Clear Existing Data
File → Open Data Folder → history → [server]. Delete existing .hst files for pairs you want to replace.
Import via History Center
Press F2 to open History Center. Select symbol, click Import, browse to your .hst file.
Restart MT4
Close and reopen MetaTrader. Open Strategy Tester and run a backtest to verify your new data.
MT5 Users: Create custom symbols via View → Symbols, then import bars to that symbol
